90 Minute IPA
|
Melton, Deliware | Pours great with excellent carbonation. Has a pleasant balanced malt and hop smell. The malt, hops and alcohol are nicely balanced. Heavy piney and citrus hop aromas with brandied fruitcake, raisiney, citrusy flavor. This is a classic which has held up well over time. First brewed in 2001. If you like IPA's then this is for you! |

Eclipse IPA |
Houston, Tx | This is new beer in their lineup and it uses a hops that I had never heard of or tasted. The beer was was inspired by the new Australian hop breed, Eclipse. To behonest I was not sure if I would like this or not. It pours great and has a tangerine smell and a very unique taste which comes from the Eclipse hops. Overall I found it to be a nice IPA with a bright refreshing taste. It is made with Pilsner, 2-row, White Wheat, Carafoam, Vienna, Acidulated barley and the hops are Pahto, Eclipse, Citra. They they brew it with an English Ale yeast. If your into IPAs then this is one to try. |

Proto Pils New World Pilsner |
Blanco, TX | This is new beer for Real Ale. First impressions is that it pours with great head. Apperance is a bit hazy for a pilsner. You can smell lemon and you can taste lemon along with honeydew, melon and strawberry besides lemon zest. Over all I am not a big fan but then I am not a fan of melon or honeydew and I am old school and beleive that a pilsner should be clear. Having said that the beer is well made and if you like the fruit flavors then this is your beer.

Occupy Marz |
Austin, TX | This beer seems to be all over the place. They claim that it is a Larger Amber/Red. To me it seems more like an Marzine but who know. This beer pours golden orange. They also claim that it is brewed with Huajillo honey but I did not get any Honey flavors from the one I had. Overall I was not impressed with this beer. I much prefer their Kolsh.
