Watermelon Sucker Punch |
Carlton, TX | I rarely find a Berliner Weisse that if packs this much flavor but from the first moment you pop the top you are met with the smell of Watermelon. The can pour great with nice lace and the smell of fresh cold watermelon stays through the pour. As you sip the beer you are hit with watermelon that graduly shifts to a nice tart finsh. If your looking for a beer that does not taste like beer than this is your beer! Even my wife Linda found this one to be one to enjoy This is something to be enjoyed cold and a hot day. Having said that I could not drink this a a session beer but it is great as a one off. I highly recommend tryintg this beer! |

Kolsch |
Houston, TX | In full disclouser I had this beer at the brewery so it was very fresh. Kolsch is a style I really enjoy and it is hard to find good examples of what I would call true German Kolschs. This I am happ to say is a great example. It pours with great head that is maintiained through out the session. It is clean, crisp and epervesent. This kolsch offers pleasant aromas of honey and fresh baked bread. This is a great beer enjoyed in the shade of a tree on a spring day. If you like Kolschs then this is one to try! |

Lake Time Amber Lager |
Marble Falls, TX | When I first was handed the can I thought this was just another amber. I had no idea of the style but as soon as I poured it and could smell the grain I knew that this was a Vienna Lager. It has a a rich amber color with subtle toasty notes of munic and vienna malts with a clean finish. This is a great example of this style and I would love to try this on tap. |

Golden Age |
Driping Springs, TX | The beer pours with good head. It is clean, crisp and has great mouth feel. IT has an earthy hop bouquet and superbly clean finish. This is an excellent beer mad for the average Texs day. So why did I down grade it? Well I have a hard time with a self labled "German Style Pilsner" having 36 IBUs. To be more in style I would expect it to be around 19 or 22 tops. But if you do not care about being in Styel then go ahead and enjoy this great beer! After all it is really all about the taste! |

Houston, TX | The beer pours with great head that maintains throughout. It is crisp, bright and easy to drink. This beer won a Silver medal in the 2018 U.S. Open Beer Championship and is a good exampl of a Mexican-Style lager. Unfortunetly for me my can also had a slyte banana flavor and the can was about 3 week s past its best by date. This is most likely where the off flavor came from. It is also why I will give this beer another chance with a fresher can. Lesson here is always check your dates before you buy!
