Saints and Sinners

Colaboration Between

Saint Arnold Brewing Co

and

Parish Brewing

Houston, TX

Broussard, LA

This beer is a colaboration between Parish Brewing and Saint Arnold Brewing. Saint Arnold did a Hazy and Parish did their take on a West Coast Double IPA that doesn’t repent.

The beer pours with great head which is maintained through out the session. It is clean, crisp, unapologetically hoppy – and 8% ABV. All backbone and bite. No haze, no sweetness – just pure, resinous hop character and a dry, snappy finish that leaves no room for forgiveness.

They used Citra, Mosaic and Simcoe hops for this beer.

If like West Coast Double IPA's then this is one to get and you had best get it now because this is a limite release!

West Ghost IPA

Sierra Nevada

Chico, CA

A modern apparition of the classic West Coast IPA. This beer’s a fresh take with aggressive hops, understated malt, and a clean finish that disappears as quick as it came. Hauntingly hoppy, ghoulishly good. Let it be known: West Ghost is in the house.

Dillo Beer

The beer pours with great head whis is maintained throughout the session. It smells clean and crisp. The taste is nice with a slight floral lemon taste.

The beer is made with pilsner malt and German Noble hops. The hops do not participate which in this style you woule expect.

Nothing special but this is an average American Lager. It is easy drinking and at 4.2% is a great beer for a BQ or ball game.

This Beer is Niiice!

Surly Brewing

Minneapolis, MN

This beer pours nice and maintains the head throughout the session . Made with Northstar Pils, Pale Wheat, Acidulated, Carafoam grains. Hops do not stand out and really do not participate.

For a beer named "This Beer is Niiice!" I would have expected something specail but I guess they wanted to stay to the name. The beer is nice but nothging to write home about which is a shame because I am a big fan of Surly and their beers.

If you want an okay Blonde than this is your beer.

First I love the name!! The packageig is great as well!

The beer pours with good head which disipates quickly. They discribe right on the can that this is "Beer with Salt & Lime". So to give them credit that is what you smell and what you taste. Unfortunetly that was all I could taste.

It is made with Rahr 2-Row, Weyermann Vienna, Weyermann Carafoam and Hallertau Hersbrucker hops.

To call this a Kölsch-style is a bit of a stretch. It is an easy drinking beer and if you like salt and lime in your beer than this is your beer.

For me I wanted to taste more of the Kölsch and less lime and salt. In fact I am not a fan of salt in my beers and the only style I like lime in are vienna lagers.

For me this is a one an done but I would say that it would make a great marinaid for fajitas espceially chicken fajitas.
