Radler Peach Radler

Alstadt Brewing

Fredericksburg, TX

If your looking for something different on the lighter side then this may be for you.

Alstadt has taken on the classic German beverage. They have taken their gold-medal lager and blended it with Fredrickburg Peaches. The result is a light, crips and refreshing drink great for hot Texas summers.

So how does it taste. Well you can smell the peach and your first taste is peach flowing in to a beer malt finish. If you like Radlers than this is for you.

Brutally Wicked

Stesti Brewing

 Lovelady, TX

This is a kettle soured Pilsner with is a unique combination to say the least.

Normally sours are not my cup of tea but I must admit I enjoyed the experience with this one.

On the down side I would like it to have had more carbonation. What is there disipates quickly.

Thd sourness is the prodominate flavor with a slight hop fininsh.

For me this is a one and done but I did enjoy the experience but if you like sours and hopped pilsners than this is for you.

Hamilton Pale

Family Business Beer Co

Dripping Springs, TX

This pours great with good carbination. It starts with Tropical smell.  It has a clean taste finishing with a grapefruit taste and bitterness.

While this beer is done technically correct I am not sure about the end flavor with leaves a strange feeling on the edges of my tounge.

El Comandante Spanish Lager

True Anomaly Brewing

Houston, TX

Taking influence from some of the oldest breweries in Spain, such as the Golden Star, Estrella Damm, El Comandante is True Anomoly's take on a traditional Spanish lager highlighting the clean, floral and sweet notes found throughout various regions of Spain.

This beer is thin to taste but has a crisp flavor which would allow one to drink it all day long.

It is on style and taste similarly to Estrella Damm which for me is not a good thing. To this date I have not found a Spanish Lager that I enjoy. If I am ever in Spain Ill stick to the wines!

But if you like Golden Star or Estrella Damm than this is your beer.

A beatiful Day in the Neikghborhood IPA

Gigantic Brewing Co

Portland, Oregon

I should admit that the name and can art caught my attention.

I pours with good carbonation and the carbonaiton last.

This is beer is made with , Cascade, Centennial, Crystal and Simcoe to create a citrusy hop confluence that continuously there with each drink. It has a bright hop aroma and flavor with big tropical notes of fruit and mango.

I generally love beers with Cascade hops but I found this to be to fruity on the back end. I think Ill stick to dried mango on carcutory board.

If you love tropical notes than this is your beer.
