Superbloom

Frost Town Brewing

Houston, TX

This beer pours wiht great head which is maintained through out the session

This is a fresh take on a west coast style IPA. Heavily hopped for a bouquet of citrus aroma and peachy finish. This is very hoppy in a citrus floweral way. If you like West Coast IPA then this is one to try.

This beer won GOLD: Fredericksburg Beer Festival 2025.

New Zealand Hoppy Pils

Saint Arnold Brewing

Houston, TX

A New Zealand (NZ) Hoppy Pils is a modern, crisp lager that replaces traditional European noble hops with bold, fruit-forward New Zealand hop varieties. The style balances a soft, bready malt base with vibrant tropical, citrus, and white-wine aromas, finishing clean and refreshing.

This is an easy drinking lager with a healthy dose of New Zealand hops. Strong tropical fruit flavors and citrus from Riwaka, Nectaron, and Motueka hops. While on style you can expect this to be a wee bit hopper than a traditional German Pilsner but less hoppy than an IPA. Think pilsner with more hops.

One I enjoyed and would love to see it become a year round option.

This beer part of Saint Arnold's small batch program and is only available at their Beer Garden.

Shiner Raspberry Lemonade Shandy

Spoetzl Brewing

Shiner, TX

This Shandy pours great but the foam disipates quickly. Once you pour it you are hit with a raspberry smell. This smell continues on to through the taste.

Brewed with real raspberries and lemonade, this bright, easy-drinking shandy delivers the perfect balance of sweet and tart.

While I am not a Shandy fan I must admit that this is well done.

Since I am not a Shandy fan I enlisted the input from the Brew Cheif AKA wife and my daughter.

The Brew Cheif gave the shandy a 4.5 over all and she found it quite enjoyable.

My daughter liked it and gave it a 3.5 but stated that she wanted more raspberry. I am not sure how Shiner could do that since the shandy already boast a great level of raspberry.

With all three scores and input I think it is safe to say that this is a beer for none beer drinkers, shandy lovers and of course raspberry fans!

This is one to try!!

D.A.D.

Saint Arnold Brewing

Houston, TX

This beer arrived with a nice head which did not really stay. The beer is listed as an IPA but I consider it more of a hazzy which the picture shows very well.

Coming in at 3% it is a beer you could drink all day.

For me it was a one and done. While technically brewed correctly the taste lines up more with a hazzy which I am not a big fan of. But if you like hazzy and low ABV than this is your beer.

Drinkable All Day. A hoppy ale with Amarillo, Mosaic, and Krush hops.

This beer part of Saint Arnold's small batch program and is only available at their Beer Garden.

Indio

Cerveza Indio

Monterrey, Mexico

This beer pours with great head and is maintained though out the session .

Indio is a dark Vienna lager-style beer offering a fusion of golden malt and toasted caramel notes, giving it subtle hints of sweetness and less bitterness.

I have had this beer before and remember it being better. Perhaps it the can I had was colder or may be the addition of a lime might have improved the experience. I found mine to be as bit to caramelly. This could have been do to it being old or just the temp is was served at. Over all it is a decent beer and worth the try.
