Two Heared IPA
|
Kalamazo, MI | Brewed first in 2015 this is a great example of a well balanced IPA. Dry hopped with Centennial hops the overall flavor is citrus, slight grapefruit and pine notes. It pours with just the right amout of carbination and calarity. If you like IPA's then this is right up your alley! |

14th Anniversary NZ Style Pilz |
Austin, TX | Well Jester King is once again brewing great none sour beers! Which I believe is a good thing. They brewed a crisp pale lager with 100% Weyermann Pilsner malt kettle-hopped with RAKAU. Then they dry hopped it with NECTARON and PEACHARINE Hops. Finally, they added RIWAKA HOP KIEF hopsto the brite beer tank before packaging. The result is a Pilsner with a bit of twist due to the dry hopping. Its a bit hoppier than a Plisner usually is but it works. This is one to try. I also find it interesting that their website does not really include their beers. The only place you can see their beers is on their menu. But if your into goats then this is a must visit for you as they have a goat walk and goat experience along with a great menu of food. |

Bull Rush DIPA |
Houston, TX | Up front disclosure, I am not a Hazy IPA fan. Having said that this beer pours nicely and you know its a hazy right away just from its appearance. It has good carbonatikno but leaves me with a Strange feeling on back end along the side of my tongue. It not a bad feeling, just different. If you like hazy's then you need to try this one.

Negra |
Houston, TX | Tejas Brewing is located in the old Buffalo Bayou location. The beer pours nice with good head and head retention. It is a dark amber color. The taste is along the lines of a Vienna Lager mimicing Negra Medleo but is a lot sweeter taste. The website does not give much information on the beer but to say "Tejas Negra is a smooth Amber. Mastered down south in the cantina and right at home wherever you find yourself." They do have a big menu so it may be a place to check out. I'll need to add it to my spring/summer road trip!
