If there is a downside it would be that the porter is lost to the barrel. Sherman, TX | Poured from a can. Caramel in color with a tan head. Smells of malt, caramel and bourbon. Flavor starts very boozy but mellows out with hints of vanilla and caramel. Also has a little smokey hint in the background. Very nice, complex and tasty. If you like Wee Heavy's then this is one for you. |

Holland, MI | This beer pours with a nice head. At first there is almost no nose and the taste is sterel. This is a beer that needs to warm up a bit. Once it warms up you get a weak malt smell but no yeast, no hops, no bourbon, no barrels, no chocolate, no coffee. It begins slightly bitter with very weak mocha. No bourbon and no barrel up front, although a bit of bourbon appears in the aftertaste. It has a thick mouth feel with a creamy over tone. Slight taste of cinimun and maybe a very small rasin flavor present. Overal this is my least favorite of the Dragon Milk series. I wanted more barrel and oatmeal rasin flavor.

Mardi Gras Bock |
Covington, LA | Abita Mardi Gras Bock is brewed with pale, pilsner and caramel malts and German Perle hops. They claim it is simuular to a German maibocks with its rich malt flavor and full body. I would say that the flavor is to sharp for a mailbock but that is a personal taste. Overal if you like maibocks then this is one to try |

Shiner Light Blonde |
Shiner, TX | I tried to like this beer as a low cal beer but I just can't. It is thin, with no mouth feel and a bad after taste. In full disclosure I am not a light beer fan. But this is just not good. Great it has only 99 caloeries but water has zero. |
