Holiday Cheer

Spoetzl Brewery

Shiner, TX

I must say that this beer was a surprise to me. If your looking for a holiday beer than this is one to try. They say it has peaches and pecans and they do deliver. You can smell the peaches and you can taste both the peaches and the pecans.

This is one to pour into a tulip glass and share with a friend. Even the my wife enjoyed this beer.

Deactivator

Bakfish Brewing

This is seasonal beer for Bakfish and I must say they did it right. It has a rich, sweet & malty flavor with hints of chocolate, dark fruits & light toast with a slight mild hop flavor. N Mouthfeel: Very smooth; Moderate to full body; Low carbonation; No harshness or astringency; Slight alcohol warmth

Amber Lager

New Magnolia

Houston, TX This beer lends itself to more cool after noonr and it is a great example of a style that is not done much. This is a Czech-style Amber Lager, hopped like Czech Pils but with a richer malt profile. Ideal for a 54 to 60 degree day. Amber Lager       4 4 4 4 4 4 Pic

Dunkel

Klaus Brewing

Houston, TX This dunkle is complex yet still session-able, this beer has subtle chocolate overtones supported by a rich noble hops to balance the maltiness of this beer with moderately low bitterness & a touch of spiciness.  This is a great fall to winter beer. Perhaps before the big turkey dinner. Dunkle 5% 25   4 4 4 3.9 4.1 4 Pic
