Brewmaster for a Day

Have you always wanted to be a brewmaster?  This totally emersive class allows you the opportunity of a life time.  In the class you will assist in brewing a batch of beer.  The classe will include classetime as well as hands on experence.  

We offer two different Brewmaster for a Day experiences.  Both require advance reservations and payment. 

 Option 1: During the Texas Renaissance Festival
Option 1 will be a historic brew and will be done on our historic equipment. (10 gallon batch)
(Brew time will start at 10:00 am.  Please allow for traffic.)

Option 2: During Off Season (Non-Fair Days)
Option two will allow you to choose to brew on either our Historic Equipment or our Modern Equipment. (1 to 2 bbl Batch)
(Brew times are more flexable.)

It is important to realize that both of these options allow the individual to assist in brewing a batch of beer.  The recipe is choosen by the brewery staff and all beer is property of Brigadoon Brewery.   If you wish to choose the recipe and keep the beer you will need to sign up for our Brew Your Own Class.    The Brew Your Own Class allows you the option to pick the beer recipe and then when the beer is ready you can take it home to consume.   This is a great option for weddings, retirement parties, birthday parties or any occation where you want to serve your own beer.  Packageing options are available.
  

All Brewmaster for a Day packages are designed for one individual.  We understand that most fair goers do not attend the fair alone and that they may wish to share their experience with a spouse and or friend.  With this in mind we allow one adult guest observer with each package for an additional charge of $25.00 to cover a snack and beverage.  (Guest tickets available for $32.00 if purchased with Brewmaster for a Day package Option 1.)

If you wish to totally share your brew session with a spouse or friend you may add a co-brewmaster for $200.00 per individual.  (Do to the size of our brewery and in order to allow the individual instruction we limit the number of Co-Brewmaster to two per brew session.)

All brew sessions require a $100.00 non-refundable booking fee to reserve your special day.   The $100.00 booking fee is credited against your balance. Final payment is due 14 days prior to your reservation date.
  Upon final payment we will mail your certificates and
tickets.  If reservations are made with less than seven days to your brew date you may pick up your certificates and tickets at the will call booth located at the front of the Texas Renaissance Festival.  Failure to pay the balance will result in cancellation for non payment.  A refund
will be issued excluding the $100.00 non-refundable booking fee.

The Texas Renaissance Festival is open rain or shine.  No refund will be made for inclement weather.  In the unlikely event that the Festival is closed a full refund will be made. 

We realize that unforeseen issues may arise between the day you book your session and the day of your session,
with this in mind we will attempt to reschedule your session if you provide 48 hours notice at no charge. No refunds will be made with out at least 48 hours notice.
